Meet The Team
Our Vision is to provide a fun, safe and sustainable experience while exploring the beauty of The Coromandel.
Loving Life on the Coromandel
Gavin and Leanne Jeffcoat are proud to share a part of New Zealand rich in surprises with intrigue around every corner. Our connection to the Northern Coromandel relates to 150 years of family history. This centres around 20 acres of land in the small village of Colville. Our local knowledge coupled with work history in transport and customer service, mean we will strive to deliver an exceptional experience to our travellers.
Our Values
Our People:
To develop a supportive and responsible culture where staff feel valued and confident to contribute.
Teamwork:
To treat others how we expect to be treated ourselves.
Customers:
To go the extra mile for our customers to create memorable experiences.
Business:
To continue to innovate the business never letting it go stale.
Community & Environment:
To contribute and make a difference in our community and local environment.
Our Motto: Being Without Taking
Our Commitment to all things New Zealand starts here!
Having taken both the Tiaki Promise and NZ Tourism Sustainability Commitment has led us on a journey of creating a better future for generations to come.
Our Community and Environment
We fully support efforts in our area to nurture the environment and protect local flora and fauna so they can thrive. Our support extends to Moehau Environment Group (“MEG”) who co-ordinate large numbers of volunteers to man thousands of traps dotted around the Peninsula in their efforts to reduce pest numbers. If you would like to help them out, you can even sponsor your own stoat or ferret trap. Please click here for details.
Water is Life
In a project with Colville Harbourcare and Waikato Regional Council, we have fenced stock out of the main stream and saltmarsh areas. 4,000 native New Zealand trees have been planted. We are delighted to see the return of native birds and clean stream water to our historic family property.
How to Reduce Our Carbon Emissions
Taking tour can save separate vehicle trips to the Walkway. Come with us and leave your vehicle parked up for the day.
We also offer tours powered by electric bikes.
Our vehicles are serviced regularly, we drive economically and our tyre pressures are checked between tours.
Our Sustainability Assessment
We will continue to look for ways to minimise our carbon footprint. From our recent InStep Assessment we are pleased to report we are well on the way and are very proud of our efforts to date.
Further wetland areas on our small farm are to be fenced and stock excluded in autumn of 2023 in an effort to retire the less useable areas of the property.
Compliance - For Your Safety

All our vehicles operate under a Transport Service Licence and receive Certificates of Fitness every six months.
